Eclipses and the death or fall of notable personalities

Ancient Astrologers used Eclipses to predict the rise and fall of Kings, and even today we can usually expect some notable personage to pass away close to the time of an eclipse. The more powerful the eclipse, the more powerful the person. Think back to 1999 when we had that most unusual and extremely powerful Grand Cross eclipse on August 11th.   Two of the most famous personalities in the world died within weeks of that eclipse - Princess Diana in late August, and John Kennedy Jr a few weeks before on July 16th.  Heath Ledger died within 2 weeks of a Solar Eclipse in January of 2008, and it also hit a very deep chord within the public, as did Michael Jackson's death in June of 2009, which was also within 2 weeks of an Eclipse. The effect of an eclipse can last up to 6 months, although some say it can carry through for a year or even longer, depending on its strength. Eclipses can also be activated before they actually occur.

There was no eclipse around the time of Whitney Houston's death on January 11th, but it did trigger the next Solar Eclipse which takes place on May 20th, 2012. This eclipse has the Sun and Moon conjunct at 0 Gemini. Whitney's funeral was on Feb 18th, the day that the Sun hit 0 Pisces and triggered that Eclipse position.

This month (May) we have two eclipses.  A Lunar Eclipse on May 4th and a Solar Eclipse on May 20th.  And then we have another Lunar Eclipse on June 4th.  We've already had a number of important personalities pass away this month.  Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys was a big name for those of us born in the 60s and 70s, and he died on May 4th, within hours of the Lunar Eclipse.  Donna Summer - Queen of Disco passed away today, a few days away from the Solar Eclipse on the 20th.   The fact that John Travolta's 'double life' is coming out under an Eclipse time shows that this issue isn't going away anytime soon.  It could even be seen as the fall of a King. 

Update -  just got word that Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees just passed away today, the exact day of the Solar Eclipse.  Sad.  I loved the Bee Gees.

Eclipses are like fate jumping in and giving you a push in the right direction. It's like a cosmic kick in the pants!  If you're on track, then the Universe doesn't have to push too hard, but if you've been deluding yourself in some way, then shit happens!  

Case in point - Tiger Woods.  The first alleged incident of infidelity came out on Nov 25th, 2009.   We had a Lunar Eclipse that year on Dec 31st, which just happened to be his birthday.   He was, in effect, Eclipsed!   This all started coming out a few weeks before the eclipse which had a double whammy effect because it was his birthday.  If an eclipse hits on your birthday, then its definitely a year of change!

Mel Gibson's rants became public during the Eclipses of 2012...June 26th and July 11th, which both aspected his natal Capricorn Sun.

If you're not crazy about what's coming up during this month's eclipses, realize its just the Universe pushing you back on track.  The degree you resist is the degree to which you struggle.  In the end, the change is usually in one's best interest.  Your best bet is to let go, and let God!

Thor's Hammer just came down on John Travolta

I've always liked John Travolta.  He really was one of the best looking men in Hollywood back in the day.

Well, Thor's Hammer has just come down on John Travolta.

Thor's Hammer is an aspect consisting of a square (90 degrees) and two sesquiquadrates (135 degrees).  John Travolta has this aspect natally between Mars, Venus and Uranus.   Mars at 4 Sag and Venus at 4 Pisces, and both 135 degrees from Uranus.  Mars, Venus, Uranus aspects speak to a certain volatility, unpredictability or thrill-seeking when it comes to love and sex.  Especially when the focal planet is Uranus!  This aspect pattern gives quite a bit of personal tension, and here that tension has to do with his love life.

Well, this aspect in his chart just got triggered big time.  The North Node is conjuncting Mars and triggering the whole thing.  The North Node also brings in elements of 'destiny' or of being true to oneself.  The North Node is about finding your true path.  Neptune is involved too, which brings in elements of deception and that which is hidden.

Besides Thor's Hammer, John's Solar Arc  Moon is now conjuncting his Saturn in Scorpio in the 4th house.  It's like hitting a wall.  Wham!  Saturn the taskmaster won't let you get away with being inauthentic for too long.  He's all about taking responsibility for what you're doing and who you are.  And the 4th house has a lot to do with your foundation in life.  It's where you live...figuratively and literally.

Natally, John has Chiron and the North Node conjuncting his Dsc (relationship point).  This speaks to a certain wounding around relationships, and dealing with this challenge is part of his destiny in this lifetime (north node).

Everyone seems to think he's a  good guy, except for the assaulting massage therapists part of the equation.  However, all we really know of John is what he wants us to know.  He's the master of illusion....which is probably why he makes such a good actor!

John has some pretty harsh aspects coming up this summer, so needless to say, this current debachle is not going away anytime soon!  

Ho'oponopono - the Secret to Wealth, Health , Love and Peace

I learned about the ancient Hawaiian healing method of Ho'oponopono whilst reading the book   Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More and literally a whole new world has opened up.

You've heard about the Law of Attraction, right?  Well, Ho'opononpono is the next step after that.  Ho'oponopono is a Hawaiian healing method based upon the idea that things happen in our life based upon our beliefs and our old programming.  Notice I said old programming.  This programming, from childhood or even from our ancestors, is actually mostly subconscious stuff, so no wonder we don't always get what we want.  There's usually some old program or belief system running unconsciously that contradicts what our conscious mind wants.    Ho'oponopono is about erasing those old beliefs and patterns that are sabotaging our efforts.  It's called 'cleaning'. 

It has more recently become modernized by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, and has become popular through the book  Zero Limits written by Joe Vitale and Dr Hew Len.

It's based on the premise that we are 100% responsible for everything and everyone that we experience in our life. It's based on the idea that everything that happens to us is really just a memory or an old program that we are running. These memories are passed down from our parents, our family and our ancestors, possibly even from past lives.   If we get a disease, then its the memory of that disease that we are running, and we employ Ho'oponopono healing to erase these memories, and bring us back to zero state. This process is called 'cleaning.'

 

Dr. Hew Len was a staff psychiatrist at the Hawaii State hospital for the criminally insane in the 1980s, and using Ho'oponopono he was able to cure the entire ward! How did he do this? He would read their files, and then feel whatever feelings came up, like disgust or sadness, and then he said the Ho'oponopono prayer for each person, asking Divinity to forgive him for whatever old program or belief he himself was running that caused him to create this in these people. He was taking full responsibility for these inmates and their problems being in his life/awareness, and he asked for these memories in him to be erased, which in turn erased them for the inmates as well.

The prayer is simple.

So, to clean on your visit to the dentist, you could just say 'I'm cleaning on my visit to the dentist today', which means you're cleaning on any old programs running about pain or tooth decay or whatever...and then use the 4 phrases above.  And then clean on your dentist, using his name.  There are other phrases that one can use, such as dewdrop, gingersnaps, ice blue, Hawaii...and many others. You can mix and match any of them, and they all clean the situation. Ho'oponopono literally means 'to correct an error. 

As Mabel Katz says "everything that shows up in our life is a memory, a program playing (an error) and it shows up in our life to give us an opportunity to let go, to clean, to delete. Ho’oponopono is the delete key in the keyboard in our computer. See, when you misspell a word, you don’t talk to the monitor and tell the monitor “How many times did I tell you how to spell that word?” You know the monitor cannot do anything about it. You can talk to the monitor all day long, but the monitor will look at you, like what does she want me to do?? If you want to change something you need to delete first, create that empty space in order to put the right information. Ho’oponopono takes us back to the void, to zero, so that Inspiration can show up in our life and guide us. That way we can be at the right time at the right place. "
